Why Gioca

Why Old Bridge families make the short drive.

Old Bridge has one of the biggest recreational soccer scenes in Middlesex County, and that is exactly where many of our players start. When a child outgrows Saturday rec games and wants more touches, more feedback and a real pathway, families look for a soccer academy that treats each player as an individual. Gioca is built for that step.

Our sessions run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at Dailey’s Pond Recreation Area in South River, about 15 minutes from most of Old Bridge via Route 18 or Route 9. Younger teams train from 5:30 to 7:00 PM and older teams from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, which fits around school and dinner without a late night.

Every group is deliberately small, so Coach Zane and Coach Julian know your child by name within a session or two. Players are grouped by birth year, from U7 to U18, and our teams compete in EDP and NJYS-certified leagues. Read more about how a week of training at Gioca is structured.
