Ask a Sayreville parent what they want from a soccer academy and the answer is usually the same: close to home, three evenings a week at most, and a coach who genuinely knows their child. Dailey’s Pond Recreation Area is five to ten minutes from most of Sayreville, and Gioca keeps every group small enough for that kind of coaching.
Teams are grouped by birth year and train on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The 5:30 PM slot suits younger players and the 7:00 PM slot suits older ones, so families with two children at different ages can often cover both in one evening at the same field.
Beyond the season there is the Summer Training Academy for ages 5 to 13, and for players who want to compete, teams from U7 to U18 play in EDP and NJYS-certified leagues. The first session, as always, is free.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Teams born 2015 to 2019 train from 5:30 to 7:00 PM and teams born 2012 to 2015 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Schedules can change, so confirm with the coaching team.
