North Brunswick sits in the middle of Central Jersey’s soccer map, with clubs pulling players in every direction. Families who choose Gioca tend to value the same thing: a soccer academy small enough that the coach notices how their child is progressing, not just whether the team won on Saturday.
The drive to Dailey’s Pond Recreation Area in South River takes around 15 to 20 minutes, through Milltown or via Route 1 and Route 18. Training runs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, starting at 5:30 PM for younger teams and 7:00 PM for older teams, so after-school pickups still work.
Gioca was founded by Zane and Julian Taha, and they coach the sessions themselves. Players train with their birth-year group from U7 to U18, compete in EDP and NJYS-certified leagues, and work on decision-making and composure alongside technique. Every new player trains once with us at no cost, so you can judge the coaching before you commit.
